Route: Nabire → Tanjung Mangguar → Asandami → Wasior → Torowar Tribe Expedition
Day 1: Arrival in Nabire & The Bagan Night
* Morning: Arrive at Nabire Airport (NBX). Transfer to a premium beachfront bungalow (e.g., Kali Semen or similar).
* Afternoon: Leisure time and rest to acclimate to the tropical humidity.
* Evening: Board a boat for a night visit to a Bagan (traditional lift-net platform). Observe the local fishermen and the unique nighttime activity of the bay.
* Dinner: Fresh seafood at the resort.
Day 2: The Giants & Island Life
* Sunrise: Depart for the Bagans to swim and snorkel with Whale Sharks.
* Afternoon: Snorkeling at a nearby coral reef and a cultural visit to a local coastal village to learn about the "Guardians of the Whale Sharks."
* Evening: Final night in your Nabire bungalow.
Day 3: Voyage to the North (Tanjung Mangguar)
* Morning: Depart Nabire via Long Boat heading north.
* Highlight: Stop at Tanjung Mangguar, a spectacular limestone headland.
* Activities: Fishing for groupers/trevally and snorkeling in the deep blue walls of the cape.
* Accommodation: Since this area is uninhabited and remote, you will spend the night camping in a protected cove under the stars.
Day 4: Asandami & The Piloti Homestay
* Morning: Continue north toward the Wondama region, snorkeling at hidden reefs along the way.
* Lunch: A private picnic lunch on a deserted white sand beach.
* Afternoon: Arrive at Asandami Village. Check into a traditional wooden piloti homestay built over the water in the strait. Learn how to collect and use sago flour for traditional cooking and follow training of young traditional fighters. You can practice with them and learn how to use a spear.
* Evening: Sunset fishing near the homestay.
* Dinner: A grand Feast of Lobster and Grilled Fish BBQ on the deck of your homestay.
Day 5: Birding & The Road to Wasior
* Early Morning (05:00): Jungle trek for Birding (Birds of Paradise) in the nearby forest canopy.
* Morning: Return to the homestay for a traditional breakfast.
* Day: Island hopping around the Wondama archipelago—visiting turquoise lagoons and limestone karst formations.
* Late Afternoon: Boat to the nearest road access point. 1-hour car transfer to your hotel in Wasior.
* Dinner: Explore the local culinary scene in Wasior town.
Day 6: Expedition to the Torowar Tribe
* Early Morning: 3-hour 4WD drive deep into the interior to reach a remote Torowar tribal village.
* Activity: Join a Hunting Expedition with Torowar tribesmen, learning traditional tracking and survival skills.
* Lunch: Picnic in the wild.
* Dinner: Parapen (Earth Oven). A traditional feast where food is cooked underground using hot stones.
* Night: Sleep in a local tribal house using your own camping/expedition equipment.
Day 7: Forest Treasures & The Waterfall
* Early Morning: Trek into a Magnificent Primary Forest. Your target: sighting three distinct species of Birds of Paradise, along with endemic flora.
* Midday: Journey back to Wasior.
* Afternoon: Rest and gear cleanup. Optional late afternoon visit to a local waterfall for a refreshing dip.
* Evening: Final farewell dinner in Wasior. Stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Departure to Manokwari
* Morning: Transfer to Wasior Airport (WSR).
* Flight: Short scenic flight across the bay to Manokwari (MKW).
Flight to Jakarta or Bali
